Best toys in my house

Like any other parent I’m busy preparing lists for Christmas presents for all my family and friends. The hardest has to be thinking of what to choose from the massive lists my two daughters have prepared! One, who is almost 3 and the other, will be 5 in March. I have to say, I’m finding it much easier to pick things for my oldest as I feel at 3, you are too big for ‘baby’ things, yet too small for ‘grown’ up toys.

It got me thinking about how many toys the girls actually have and what has been the best things I have bought them over the years. Here’s my list

Early Learning Centre – Happyland
I got this for my then 2 year old last year. We have quite a few of the items from the range including Happyland Ready to Play Village Set, Playmat & School. I managed to get it at 50% off last year and have just managed to get the Ready to Play Fun Fair set at half price this year too! Thank you ELC!

Wheelybug – Mouse6149726_jpg
I didn’t actually intend on buying them this, but as soon as I took delivery of them from Hippychick, they stole it and I have never gotten it back! We have wooden floors all over our house which I have to say makes the wheelybugs much more fun and they can spend ages races each other on their bikes & wheely! If you want to get the best value from your Wheelybug, I would choose the Large as it will last your child much longer.

Little Tikes Cozy Coupe Car
This has to be one of my favourites as I actually had one of these when I was a child. My mum told the story where we were in Woolworths and I wouldn’t get out – in the end my gran had to buy it for me and we left the shop happy! It’s just one of those classic toys that all kids love!
